Please add the ( Max # jobs ) and ( Max# CPUs ) options to "Preferences for this project" My system is downloading 100s of Work units, and each only takes about an hour. BOINCing since October 1999

Hi Petrctale, good suggestion, thanks! Both options are now available in your project preferences (Your account → Preferences → Preferences for this project): "Max # of jobs for this project" and "Max # of CPUs for this project". The server applies them on your next scheduler request. The large download comes from our recent change giving each thread about a day of work, so these settings let you keep it smaller on your machine. |

Thanks but not to be asking for to much the max there now is 8 it could be higher like 32 or 64? |

Fair point! The list currently stops at 8 because that is the default of the BOINC web code. We'll raise it to 64 so that larger machines can use it too. |
