Eternity II 2 Oct 2026 14:43:42 Scheduler request to https://boinc.eternityathome.org/eternity_cgi/cgi failed: Timeout was reached
2 Oct 2026 14:43:42 Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site

Hi,

WUs cannot be uploaded.
No new work because of this error above.

Can someone have a look on it?

Hi Jörg, thanks for the report
you found a real server-side issue. After your client lost contact, it queued thousands of progress messages, and our web server was cutting the connection while the scheduler was still reading them, so every retry failed the same way. This is fixed now. Your client should recover on its next contact; you can speed it up by clicking "Update" for Eternity II in BOINC Manager. Your completed tasks will then upload and report normally.
